Topic: Resource efficient and cleaner production

The National EaP GREEN Conference on Resource Efficient and Cleaner Production (RECP) in the Republic of Belarus, which took place on 7 February, 2017 in Minsk, reviewed results and experience from 23 enterprises from food, chemicals and construction materials industries that took part in in the EaP GREEN RECP Demonstration component in Belarus. The results showed savings for each enterprise in the range from EUR 2 000 to EUR 20 000 per annum. The participants also reviewed the results of open seminars and forums on RECP,  that were organized under the Project which attracted about 300 participants from enterprises and expert community off all regions of Belarus. RECP Clubs were established in four cities: Minsk, Maladziečna, Viliejka, Sluck bringing together 60 enterprises that apply RECP methodology and discuss solutions on production improvement.
