Reform of environmentally harmful subsidies

Determining the environmental impact of different subsidies is often complicated because specific policy measures do not take place in isolation, but rather within a broad and evolving socio-economic and technological context. EaP GREEN looks at: preparing inventories of environmentally harmful subsidies, developing policy guidance tools for the reform of environmentally harmful subsidies (EHS); assisting countries in the adoption and implementation of the strategies and plans for reform; and building capacity and political support through the organisation of stakeholder meetings and dissemination of policy recommendations at the local level.
